The Modern food!!!

The food we are all consuming seems all fine but if you think carefully many things have been altered and processed beyond imagination.... at times you will find it hard to find food that is natural. So what is modern food, is it what the vegie seller who tell you thier fruits and vegies are all organic or is modern food refering to all the well processed unatural food. Today if you go to the super market, you will find almost 80% of the items are prepacked in a very nice and appealing way to lure us to buy. THen on the packaging it says the amount of protein, fat, vitamin, calcium etc etc..... that you will get with every pack.... Clearly all this are all way too processed to be good for our body to get a balance diet. Staying in Malaysia has given us many advantages if we select our food very carefully. Coconut and sugarcane where you can get from the road side is a fantastic source of fruits that is minimally processed. Then you can buy some mangoestine, durian, papaya, rambutan which are fresh from the farm.. how nice!!!!

Food that we must consume less, Char kuey teao, Nasi Lemak, Mee goreng, ayam goreng (Fried Chicken), fast Food ( Burger Ramli, KFC, Mcdonalds, Pizza Hut) etc etc....

Food that we can take for breakfast: Half boiled egg with some kaya bread, milk with cereal.
Lunch is a bit hard to prepare as we are all busy working people who are always on the move, however we can take minimal rice with 2 vegie dish and an egg. Yes no meat, but you can always substitude the egg with a liltle bit of meat. Other options that i normally op for is noodle soup like Prawn noodle, Pork noodle. Something very simple like preparing a bottle of juice + an apple or pear will also work once you are able to set your mind on how much food you need to consume.

Well i am now 80KG, all said about what to take and what not. We will see how well i progress once i change my diet and exercise everyday... Target Weight at the end of July 76KG, 4KG should be achievable.
